Most clients experience light flaking or micro-shedding of superficial skin over 1–3 days — similar to mild dry skin. Some clients see no visible peeling at all, particularly in the first session. The corrective action occurs primarily at the cellular level, not through surface shedding.
A single session produces a noticeable improvement in radiance and clarity. For targeted correction of pigmentation, acne scarring, or uneven tone, a course of 3–6 sessions spaced 2–3 weeks apart typically delivers the most comprehensive result. For the first 48–72 hours post-peel: avoid direct sun exposure without SPF 50+ sunscreen, intense heat (saunas, hot showers), heavy exercise, and active-ingredient skincare such as retinoids, vitamin C serums, or exfoliating acids.
